First time using this foundation and omggg! It’s literally full coverage!! Blends nicely and easy to apply. I am not really into drugstore foundation cause I have had bad experiences in the past. Today, I gave it a try and picked the perfect shade for my skin Lol! Shade 127 sand beige.

Anywho, I’ve watched alot of reviews about this new @maybelline foundation, so I decided to try it out for myself. I wanted to see if it could keep up with me and last throughout the day— and, let’s be real, to see if it was really worth the hype!! COVERGIRL Vitalist Healthy Elixir

One of my favorite products to try out is definitely a foundation. I’ve been using this beauty @covergirl Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation religiously because it gives me great coverage and a healthy glow that lasts all day long. And it’s even better when paired with a good primer and setting powder. 🤗

This beauty has a special antioxidant and vitamin complex includes of SPF 20 work together to make your skin look healthy all day. The Vitalist Healthy elixir is an oil-free liquid foundation that offers lightweight, full coverage. Just fyi, this foundation does oxidize after a couple of minutes, (turns a shade darker after applied) which can be tricky with shade matching. So that is something to consider with the wear of it. It contains fragrance, which may bother some people. It’s not an unpleasant scent but smells exactly like makeup remover wipes to me. I think I have gotten used to it by now because I don’t notice the scent as much.

The formula is comfortable to wear and easy to apply. It starts out with strong medium coverage that can be built up to full coverage. It lasts fairly decent throughout the day (6-8 hours) when setting with powder and setting spray.

I personally recommend it for normal/combo/dry skin types. Oilier skin types may need to reinforce with powder throughout the day. But its a dream for dry skin. This foundation is great cheaper alternative to the luxury brands on the market. It’s perfect for the summer, it gives your skin a healthy glow.

NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation

Foundation is definitely one of my favorite beauty products. I am a huge fan of NARS. One of my favorite foundations happens to be by NARS. So, when I saw that they were releasing a brand new one, I had to get it ASAP! Especially, When it comes to foundations and tons of beauty gurus are raving about it, I have to try it. So, when I came back from my Philippines vacation, I immediately went to Sephora to get that beauty! I got it, tried it.

So, let's get to it...

The NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation is available at Sephora, Ulta for $49.00. Available in 33 skin tone-matching shades. I went for the medium shade Santa Fe. (medium with peachy undertones) The foundation claims to be medium-to-full coverage and great for all skin types! It’s meant to be the radiant long wear foundation with the ‘first’ 16-hour fade resistant wear with full-powered radiance. The packaging is so stunning, It comes in a sleek, slim glass bottle. Oh yeah, It also comes with a pump (Hallelujah!) which dispenses a small amount of product. The formula is lightweight on the skin and fade, transfer, and sweat resistant. Creamy and thicker than the other NARS Foundation I’ve tried but it can be blend out very easily.

A little goes a crazily long way so apply lightly and build. I love the lightweight feel of this foundation; it wears like a second skin. The coverage is medium to full and buildable, without being heavy, doesn’t look cakey and it really does give a radiant finish. I think this foundation will do wonderfully during the warmer months when you want coverage but don’t want to feel like you have layers on your face. As far as I can tell there is no detectable scent, no irritation on my skin, no white flashback with a camera flash.

Overall, I am in love with this foundation. I think I found my new holy grail!! the texture, coverage, finish and staying power is the bomb and exactly what I look for in a foundation.

So, If you are looking for a really great high-end lightweight foundation that is going to last ALL day long then this is the one for you. It truly is worth every penny.
